On March 29th, A.F.D.J. (Administratia Fluviala a Dunarii de Jos RA Galati, a state organization of Ministry of Transport in Romania) organized a closing conference in order to celebrate a year of successful operation of super ice class tugboats Sulina 2 and Covurlui.
First vessel of the series, Sulina 2 was delivered on May 20th, 2021 and the second vessel Covurlui was delivered on June 1st, 2021 by Med Marine. Both vessels have been successfully in operation in the Danube River since.
The event was attended by Med Marine’s General Manager Yıldız Bozkurt Özcan and various officials from the Romanian Ministry of transport.
