Med Marine Successfully Delivered Celtic Treaty to Mainport (Celtic Tugs)

MED MARINE SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED CELTIC TREATY TO MAINPORT (Celtic Tugs)

Med Marine successfully delivered  “Celtic Treaty” to Mainport (Celtic Tugs) in June 2023.

The Turkish crew members played a crucial role in delivering the vessel and were extremely supportive in providing training to the Irish crew who will be operating the vessel.

The Mainport (Celtic Tugs) expressed satisfaction with the helpfulness of the Turkish crew and the successful delivery of the vessel. To show their gratitude for the diligent efforts of the Turkish crew, Mainport arranged a brief excursion around Cork as a token of appreciation.

The contract for the supply and delivery of the Azimuth Stern Drive Tugboat was signed at the end of 2021.

The vessel belongs to the MED-A2885 RAstar 2800 series and was designed by Canadian Naval Architects Robert Allan exclusively for Med Marine.

Tugboat was chosen for its versatile, compact, and modern design. The vessel offers efficient ship handling, coastal towing, general-purpose towing, and escort capabilities.
