Turkey’s tugboat operator and shipbuilder Med Marine is expanding its design portfolio with new designs.
The company and Canadian naval architect Robert Allan Ltd. of Vancouver recently signed another design contract for RAmparts 3200-SD (shallow draft) tugboat. The RAmparts series of tugs are widely accepted, well-proven ASD tug designs which have coalesced into a set of relatively standardized configurations, now representing the most versatile, multi-purpose type of tug in use today.

Med Marine is a Turkish shipbuilder and operator. Med Marine employs Eregli Shipyard, one of the largest shipyards in Turkey, for building state-of-the-art technology tugboats and Ice Class 1A Stainless Steel (STST) IMO II type chemical/oil tankers either for its national operations or global clients.
