Increasing customer demand towards Med Marine’s tugboats has led the company acquire new designs to its portfolio. In order to offer broader products and to meet the needs of its versatile customers from all over the world, Med Marine has widened its design scale.
Having signed different design contracts with Canadian Robert Allan Ltd. throughout 2019, Med Marine now opts for a smaller 21m ASD tug.
It is the 21m ASD version of RAscal design that is known for high-performance, compact and efficient line-handling tugs. Twin screw propulsion option for RAscal 2100 is also available by the designer.
Med Marine has both Z-drive and twin screw RAscal 1800 tugs under construction at its shipyard.
